AEC Turntables

AEC Turntables are used for rack loading in automotive stamps and End-of-Line Systems. They were developed to reduced cycle times with greater indexing control and accuracy. A 22' foot diameter AEC Turntable is only 4" inches high, making it extremely low profile and easy to install. The maintenance free bearing combined with a low profile design make it ideal for flush floor mounting to allow forklifts to travel across them.

The size of each turntable is calculated to meet customer's objectives for indexing, jogging, acceleration and top running speed. Included is a pre-wired control panel complete with a fused disconnect, frequency inverter, air cooling system and remote operator push button station. Optional riser designs can be supplied to suit customer's rack loading requirements.

The energy consumption required to operate the turntable is approximately 400% less than that of air bearing style turntables. Traditional turntables demand 40 Hp from an air compressor to inflate the bearings. This inflate time also adds to the required cycle time of the index or jog. AEC's Automotive Turntables are fast, efficient assets to any production line.
