As a custom design-build industrial controls company, there’s always something interesting going through the fabrication Shop at AEC Engineering. We typically have 20–30 active “projects” at any point in time. Some are small, such as replacing a failed panel PC at water treatment plant, and some are large, such as 30+ panels we are working on for a new chemical factory. Here are a few of the projects that we are currently working on.
- Designing and building a large, double-sided “modular shore station” 6ft wide x 6ft tall x 5 ft deep that will go on the banks of a [large] river and hold all sorts of equipment for an alternative energy provider.
- Building the control panel for a new power storage facility (with more in the pipeline) being built by a recent spin-off division of a Fortune 500 company.
- Fabrication of four control panels that will be operating a water treatment facility for a large data center that requires ultra-pure water to cool their servers.
- Finishing drawing packages for 30+ control panels of various sizes (the largest are big 3-bay enclosures that are going to fill up the Shop!!) that will be going into a $100M chemical plant project in PA.
- Four water/wastewater projects ranging from a new pump station to a new treatment plant, all in various stages of construction.
- Not all projects are large and sexy—we like the small simple ones too! For example, we are building three small operator panels for one of our distributor partners that likes to provide “turnkey services” to their customers.
Our experience across a wide variety of industries and applications, and our can-do attitude, enables us to add value to any project. Put us to work for you!
