AEC Engineering’s new 2,400 sf. expansion of fabrication space is underway! The extra room (and larger overhead door) will make control panel production more efficient and give us the space that we need to take on larger projects. For years the customers who have visited AEC have been impressed with the volume of work that we produce from our current building. The original building has been expanded twice already: once in 1990 and again in 1997. This expansion will provide us with more material handling and storage space; enable us to add additional work benches (and hire more controls technicians); give us a larger area for testing; and allow us to re-purpose and improve our existing space.
Kudos to the team that worked through several HOT days to keep the project moving. Site contracting is being performed by Dugas Excavating; foundation by Henderson Concrete Construction; cement supplied by Auburn Concrete; and overseeing construction is Woodhull Commercial Construction.
