AEC Supports “Smart Microgrid” Technology Customer

What happens when every node in a distributed energy system – every battery, solar array, inverter, fuel cell, whatever – turns into an independent intelligent agent that can interact with others and create a self-organizing system? This is the technology being developed by one of our newest customers. This out-of-state customer was referred to us last fall. The development of their product had evolved beyond prototyping and now they needed production assistance to fabricate multiple control panels for their new technology. The panels were headed for a large solar array project where they were to be evaluated and further refined. AEC Engineering fabricated the panels and provided input and guidance to the customer on component selection for future builds. The goal of this customer was to UL list their panel and AEC’s expertise in this regard was beneficial.
