MAME’s 2022 Annual MFG Summit Held May 13, 2022

After cancellations in 2020 and 2021 the Manufacturers Association of Maine held their annual Manufacturing Summit at The Point in South Portland, Maine on May 13. The half-day event featured an exhibitor hall and several presentations. Two “innovative” companies were featured: F3 Defense with their mobile pepper spray technology and Salmonics which processes ‘fish waste’ (aka salmon blood) into other commercial products. Other presentations included the Pine Tree Award to master boat builders French & Webb, and recognition of the Maine companies that pivoted during the pandemic to make much needed PPE. The event was well attended and informative.
